An electronics engineer by education and a Fulbright music scholar, Arjun Sagar Gupta has been a performing pianist since the early 2000’s. His influences include but are not restricted to pianists such as Erroll Garner and Thomas Waller, but also classical maestros such as Franz Liszt, Vladimir Horowitz and Chopin.

Arjun started his musical journey under the tutelage of Mr. John Raphael at the Delhi School of Music who apart from being the director of the institute was undoubtedly one of the best piano teachers in the country. Arjun plays the piano and sings, and performs with leading musicians like Pradyumna Singh Manot, Harshit Misra, and a whole bunch of others

Often described as the to go encyclopedia of Jazz by the industry, Arjun over 10 years has also curated more than 1000 shows and been a committee member of Jazz Yatra. As the founder of The Piano Man Jazz Club in New Delhi. He has been a part of over 600 shows including some of the best musicians from around the world as well as the country. 

Apart from the Piano, Arjun enjoy playing the bass, the drums, sometimes the guitar and regularly plays with, and mentors some of the best artists in the city. He spends his Sundays supervising and playing at The Jazz Club.
